An impressive end to the campaign left the Reserve team in third position. After a poor start, without a win in the first four games, the first home game of the season yielded the first victory. A strong season from Charlie Case-Green in the goal and Joe Charles at the other end was aided by an impressive back line that formed part way through the season.
Promotion a possibility, but even if the option isn’t taken its been a very good season for the Reserve team in Division Two North.
Manager Ben Smythe said: “Its been a very productive season, hopefully we can push on and reduce the gap to the first team next season. I’m certainly looking forward to pre-season and going again next season.”
